Burning Wheels

I offer a small update since my last correspondence:

August closed and September opened with a tempest of fortunes. I was in a big car accident, and though no one was seriously hurt, a minor injury and the destruction of my car lead to a furlough of out-of-the-house activity, but a lot of writing in the space.

I participated in a little bit of #swordtember, and I know I owe at least one more blade before the month is out.

Convalescing, as well as preparing for and participating in B.U.R.N. Burn took up the bulk of my time and energy aside from writing, but new strides were taken in planning an upcoming video game project. A full backlog of artifacts is on-deck for production throughout October. Opening screens, concept art, musical themes, and some animations are on the agenda.

The Burn itself was fantastic. Intimate and mostly a good recharge. There were some intense moments that will sit with me forever—on both polarities of experience. In the face of these moments, the community really came together for this and made us feel at home.
